CanCounselling

CanCounselling is a website for a counsellor offering online and offline sessions to individuals aged 16 and above. The idea is to drive traffic to their practice. It's still under construction: right now it's a landing page whilst the fuller site is built.

The client is new to the digital world and wanted to expand their clientele. Before this, they had no online presence. A simple, professional landing page gives them somewhere to start.

I'm the developer. The client provides assets and designs, and I build the site. I offer input on timelines and what's possible when needed. So far it's a barebones HTML page with custom typography and the client's colour palette.

Observability

Google Analytics tracks page views. The setup gathers data on visitor location (ideally London) and how search traffic performs for counselling-related terms. I may move them to Cloudflare later depending on their needs.

Future plans

Planning to add a CMS, with the tool decided later with the client. They want to handle bookings on the website, so I'll set that up for them.
